Garage Electrical & Construction Renovation
Just finished up this fun little outdoor project in Collingswood. The customer had a dusty old detached garage that was just being used to store random stuff leftover from the previous owner. The goal was to transform the space by adding electric for lighting, outlets, and a motion sensing flood light, and to make the space more usable for storage by adding some plywood walls, cabinets, and a work bench. We also replaced the existing 1x rafter ties with 2x6's so the ceiling could be used for further storage, and installed a garage door opener with keypad and remotes. Trenched from the house to the garage and installed a 30a sub panel for lighting and outlets. The customer was very happy with the result, and now has a convenient, well-lit, clean, user-friendly storage/work area!
