Bathroom Renovation
This bathroom was long overdue for an update. The wood accents, floor tile, popcorn ceiling, and tub insert had to go. This one was a complete gut, all the way down to the floor joist. The entire floor was WAY out of level and had to be shimmed up. We reframed the back wall to be plumb as well as to accommodate (2) new shower niches. After the framing was done, we set the tub. All the electric and plumbing was replaced. In the process of the rough-in, wiring was installed for the heated floor, low volt lighting, and in ceiling speaker. We installed wood look tile after installing heated floor for those cold winter mornings and nights. Tiled the shower, installed the rest of the fixtures and replaced the window. One of the last things to get installed was the crown molding for the cove lighting. Then came the fun part, installing the low volt lighting. We installed LED strip lighting in the crown molding cove, the shower niches, and under the vanity. All the lighting is on a scheduled dimmable motion sensor that dims the lights at night and in the morning, so you have no need to touch the lights at all when you're half asleep and just need to use the bathroom. This project turned out great! What a difference!

Mudroom Closet
Converted this small little coat closet that barely got used, and was annoying to open up, into an enlarged cased opening that has easy access and lots of storage. Started by removing the door jamb and re-framing the opening as big as possible. Re-insulated, installed framing for bench, and re-sheetrocked. Installed a custom made shelving unit to accommodate 3 baskets for storage, as well as a full shelf on top. Installed bead board, hooks for coats, and last but not least, a stained birch plywood bench. Finished the whole project off by installing gray wood look tile flooring and large decorative trim to the opening.

Living Room Renovation
This living room was incredibly outdated due to the combination of wood paneling, yellow stucco wall, large metal tract lights and brick and brick and mortar fireplace. The first step was to get rid of the paneling and shelf running along the wall, sand down and skim coat the stucco and install sheetrock. Then we removed the existing lighting and installed a few more recessed lights. Even with only these few little updates, after some painting, this space looks immensely better than before

Master Bedroom Faux Beams
This master bedroom was already nice, but it needed just a little more detail. I installed faux beams to match the same style they already had for their coffered ceiling in the foyer. Started out by installing framing and then assembled and hung the beams, installed crown molding, caulked everything and hung the chandelier

Outdoor Man Cave
This project was definitely one of my favorites. The customer in Manayunk had on old garage out back that he wanted to convert into man cave for entertaining. Upon assessing the space, going over the general scope, and coming up with design details, we got started same day after putting together a material list. We ran over to Manayunk Timber and got some yellow pine lumber for framing the pergola. First we started by roughing-in all the electric (installed switches for overhead string lights as well as outlets for both the bar mini fridge, TV, and string lighting). Then we framed the tin roof, back bar wall, pergola, and custom made bar cabinet. The customer was very happy with the result, has used it many times for parties and entertaining, and received many complements on it.

Garden Oasis
I love outdoor projects like this one! My customer had a large area outback for her garden. She loves gardening and was hoping to have a garden that would allow her to easily navigate in her wheelchair, so that she could plant, water, and tend to her garden. We started by framing a path in and out of areas, with a big platform in the middle, so she'd be able to get to all the flower beds from every side. Next we installed ALOT of Trex deck boards for her path. After that we sleeved the existing posts that were already there, after notching them down onto the perimeter framing. Installed mesh wire fencing around the whole garden, installed 2 gates, and covered the back area of the garden in privacy mesh

Removable Generator Fence
The customer wanted to hide their generator with a fence while still being able to have it accessible for maintenance and such. I started out by laying out the posts for the most potential accessibility when removing fence panels. Anchored all the posts into the concrete pad with surface mounted post brackets. Installed the panels with eye hooks for quick and easy removal when necessary

Front Porch Steps
The elderly customers of mine had some concrete front steps that had seen better days and they wanted some new steps with some railings that were easier for them to navigate. I started by busting up and hauling away all the old concrete. After taking some measurements and choosing a nice gradual rise/run, I cut the stair horses to size and installed. Finished up the framing by installing some posts and blocking. Installed Azek trim boards on the risers, Trex composite decking on the treads, and PVC posts and rails to cap it all off

Wool Mill Shoppe
This project was a big punch list of items that needed to be taken care of for a business before they opened for the spring. Some of the things it included were rebuilding a gate that had been ran over, custom designing flower displays to work with the vases she already had, installing some rustic doors that had been acquired from a yard sale, hanging banners in the ceiling, etc.
